History
The Hampshire Stud was introduced in 2003 with ewes from many small breeders and now consolidating with a flock of just over 120 ewes.
Our main ewe base was purchased from the Burrandool Stud, Ngambie Victoria, and South Killanoola, Naracoorte South Australia, our first sire from the Torwood Stud in Tasmania.
We are committed to selecting and using sires of high commercial relevance. We will not comprimise on structure, the hampshire has great conformation, meat yields and skins and we aim to maintain and improve these traits. Because of these traits things like lambing ease, fertility,mothering and production of a good even early line of lambs results.
